While some newer probes are more resilient, using a conduit is highly recommended as it allows you to replace a faulty sensor in the future without having to rip up your tiles or flooring.

2.Where should the conduit and probe be placed?
The probe tip should be positioned centrally between two runs of heating cable, at least 300mm into the heated area. Avoid placing it near hot water pipes or in areas with direct sunlight, as this can cause false temperature readings.


3.Is the brass cap necessary?
Yes, the brass cap protects the sensor from the alkaline nature of tile adhesive and screed while ensuring the sensor remains sensitive to the floor's actual temperature.


4.Can I use this with any thermostat?
This conduit and cap set is designed for Warmup systems but is generally compatible with most standard NTC 10K floor sensors used in underfloor heating.


5.How do I install the conduit?
The conduit is usually installed during the subfloor preparation. A small channel is often cut into the insulation or subfloor to ensure the conduit sits flush with the heating elements.

Can't recommend Teresa highly enough.

From my first conversation to the last Teresa she was very helpful & professional.

When she couldn't answer a particular technical question she insisted on contacting the manufacturer & called me back with the answer.

Then she assisted me through my order & payment as I was having trouble doing it on line.

Nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble.

I was working on a tight schedule for my delivery & again she was very helpful with this.
