Making A Purchase

To make a purchase, please browse our store and add the items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
The order is assuming you have correct sizes for your purchases. For a more accurate assessment we strongly recommend that you contact us for a detailed quote.
Energy-savings and control of comfort levels can only be made in conjunction with the correct thermostat or control device. We strongly recommend you purchase adequate control devices with your order to ensure optimum comfort levels and energy-savings. Adequate devices are recommended with each product. Some of our heaters must not be operated without the compliant controls. If you are unsure of compatibility of certain products, please contact us. The company cannot be held liable for products bought from other companies that are not compatible with your purchase from Eco Friendly heating.

Suitable flooring to be fitted over underfloor heating can also be purchased. A detailed quote can be provided before purchase.
We accept card payments. If you are shopping with a North American, or other foreign country, place your order and your card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.


We accept Visa, MasterCard and Paypal. You can pay via our site or an online transfer. If you do not wish to pay online, you may send your card information via phone, fax or by post.


If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

Our Affiliates may occasionally offer additional products and services to you, pursuant to your purchase of Heaters, underfloor heating or flooring (e.g. Installation services or additional appliances for your house). When making an online purchase on Eco-Friendly Heating Uk’s website, you agree that we are not responsible and can in no way be held liable for products or service promises made by 3rd parties which you do not purchase directly from us.

We may provide you with a quotation for the Products. Such quotations will be valid until the date specified on each quotation and provided it is not withdrawn by the Company prior to this date it remains capable of acceptance by you When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an order acknowledgement.

If you place an order with the Company without requesting a quotation from the Company or before such quotation has been provided, all deliveries carried out in satisfaction of such order will be subject to these Conditions.

 

Shipping And Handling

In the UK we do not usually charge shipping and handling for deliveries of products for orders over the cost of £400. Below this we charge UPS and DHL standard prices for the product size. Specific quotes will be provided for each purchase. For deliveries outside the UK we reserve the right to add the relevant shipping charges.

Delivery Schedule

We will act on your order within 1 working day of receipt. Shipping times will depend on stock availability – noting certain infrared panels are made-to-order.


We will send you an “Order Dispatch” notification when the order has been dispatched. This will contain delivery information and expected delivery dates.


All goods are checked before being dispatched. We do not dispatch items that appear damaged in any way.


When the goods are delivered please inspect the packaging of each item before signing and if there is any noticeable damage please only sign for “AS DAMAGED” and inform us on +44 (0) 7542 605660 as soon as possible.


Whilst we pack all of our underfloor heating, flooring and heaters as well as possible, infrared heating panels (especially glass and mirror panels) are fragile. Please handle them with care. Please unpack and physically inspect all panels and notify us within 24 hours of delivery if there is any visible damage.

We cannot be held responsible for a carrier not making a delivery on time. Delivery charges are imposed by our carrier. We provide free carriage on orders over £400.

Tax Charges For orders made within the UK, 20% VAT is added. For sales to the European Union, VAT is added according to the prevailing rates of the country to be shipped-to.  Orders outside the UK and European Union are VAT free, but you will be responsible for any import or local taxes. These will be levied by the courier when you import the goods, and Eco Friendly Heating shall have no liability for any taxes outside the EU.

Your Rights

Back Orders 

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Returns Policy

Your rights to return goods are protected under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

In all circumstances, please cancel your order by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you.

Cancellation before delivery

For standard stock items (excluding special order goods) you are entitled to cancel your order and obtain a full refund including any delivery charges at any time before delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you.

For non-standard stock items, special order or bespoke items such as picture panels, your right to cancel or return unwanted items for a refund does not apply once production of these items has commenced.

Refunds after delivery

For items already delivered, you are entitled to cancel your order within 30 days of delivery and obtain a full refund of the items sold within 14 days of returning them.

In cases where you do not want products that are in good working order (i.e. due to a mistake in ordering, product turns out not to be suitable for purpose intended) all such goods returned must be un-used, in saleable condition, complete with all original packaging and fixings. The cost of returning goods that are not faulty are the responsibility of the purchaser. If goods do not reach us in a saleable condition we reserve the right to reduce the refund according to the reduction in value of the goods. This includes instances where the heaters have been installed or altered in any way.

This returns policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault – for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed, where we will assume the costs of returning the goods.

 

Specification If we are asked for advice as to the suitability of any product such advice will be given to the best of our ability and in good faith but such advice is only given on the express condition that the Company is exempt from liability for failure in performance resulting directly or indirectly from such advice.

Warranty


In addition to your statutory rights, some of our suppliers, such as Herschel, offers additional warranties, the length of which varies by product. We also offer additional warranties on specific products. Please refer to the Warranty Policy for full details.


The Company shall have no liability for any costs of installation, removal or inspection costs incurred by the Buyer or any third party in respect of any warranty claim.


The warranty will be invalidated due to improper use, damage, supply voltage in excess of the stated input voltage or faulty handling by you.

Data Protection

Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are captured and submitted on the pages of the payment gateway provider (Sagepay or Paypal). Herschel does not capture or process any credit card or payment information.  This information is encrypted and submitted using 128 bit encryption.
