The Warmup StickyMat 150W/m² is a professional-grade underfloor heating solution consisting of a thin, dual-core heating wire pre-spaced on a glass fibre mesh. Its standout feature is a pressure-sensitive adhesive that allows the mat to be rolled out, secured, and even repositioned without losing its grip. At only 1.8mm thick, the heating cable is the thinnest on the market, making it ideal for renovation projects where floor height is a critical factor. It is compatible with a wide range of floor finishes, including ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, and even laminate or carpet when used with a self-levelling compound.
Product Description
The Warmup StickyMat System 150W/m² is a high-performance electric underfloor heating solution specifically designed for tiled floors in areas with higher heat demand, such as bathrooms, en-suites, kitchens, and wet rooms.
With a powerful 150W/m² heat output, this system delivers rapid warm-up times and strong thermal performance, making it ideal for rooms with higher heat loss or where quick comfort is required.
The heating cable is pre-spaced and fixed to a self-adhesive mesh mat, allowing the mat to be rolled out directly onto the prepared subfloor. This ensures consistent heat distribution and significantly reduces installation time compared to loose wire systems, particularly in regular-shaped rooms.
The StickyMat system is installed directly into tile adhesive or a self-levelling compound, creating a robust, long-lasting heating solution beneath ceramic, porcelain, or natural stone tiles. When installed with appropriate insulation and controls, it can be used as primary or secondary heating, depending on room insulation and heat loss calculations.

Suitable Applications
Warmup StickyMat 150W/m² is ideal for:
-
This wattage is designed to act as a primary heat source in modern, well-insulated spaces.
- Living Areas: Lounges, dining rooms, and bedrooms where consistent, efficient heat is required over long periods.
- Kitchens: Often the standard choice for kitchen renovations.
- Bathrooms: Ideal for providing comfort under tiles in standard bathrooms (unless they have exceptionally high heat loss)
For irregular room layouts or areas with many fixtures, a loose wire or heated decoupling system may be more suitable.
Flooring Compatibility
Compatible floor finishes:
Direct Application: Ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone (marble, slate, limestone) can be laid directly over the mat using flexible tile adhesive.
With Self-Levelling Compound: Carpet, vinyl (LVT), laminate, and engineered wood are compatible if the mat is first embedded in a 10mm layer of self-levelling compound.
Note: Always check the maximum temperature limit of your specific laminate or vinyl with the manufacturer (usually capped at 27°C).
Not suitable for laminate, vinyl, carpet, or engineered wood flooring unless the mat is embedded in a 10mm layer of self-levelling compound.

Installation Overview
-
Roll out the StickyMat onto a prepared subfloor
-
Cut the mesh (never the cable) to turn the mat
-
Embed in tile adhesive or self-levelling compound
-
Install tiles directly above.
Short Comparison
- 150W/m² Variant: Best used as a primary heat source in well-insulated areas such as living rooms, bedrooms, and kitchens. It is more efficient for prolonged use and has lower running costs in standard living spaces.
- 200W/m² Variant: Specifically designed for high heat-loss areas like conservatories or rooms with multiple outside walls and uninsulated concrete floors. It provides a quicker heat-up time in colder environments.
Tip: Higher wattage does not always mean better — choose the output based on room heat loss and insulation.
StickyMat vs Ecofloor vs Loose Wire – Which System Should I Choose?
-
StickyMat Heating Systems
Best for tiled bathrooms and high heat-demand areas where fast warm-up is required. The self-adhesive mesh allows quick installation in regular-shaped rooms. -
Ecofloor Heating Cable Mats
Ideal for tiled living spaces and kitchens where steady, even heat is needed. A great balance between performance and efficiency in well-insulated, regular-shaped rooms. -
Loose Wire Heating Systems
Best for irregular room layouts or areas with fixtures such as toilets, basins, or islands. Offers maximum flexibility where precise coverage is required.
Tip: Choose your system based on room shape and heat demand, not just wattage.
