EcoFilm Pro Professional Electric Underfloor Heating Kit

Product Description

The EcoFilm Pro Professional Kit is a high-performance carbon film electric underfloor heating system, designed for fast installation, minimal floor build-up, and efficient radiant heat distribution.

Developed for professional installers, EcoFilm Pro delivers consistent warmth across the floor surface while maintaining an exceptionally slim profile of less than 7mm, making it ideal for renovation projects where floor height is critical.

EcoFilm Pro is primarily designed for use beneath laminate and engineered wood flooring, where it can be installed as a clean, dry system without the need for self-levelling compounds or wet trades.

For more information on what electric underfloor heating to choose refer to our Electric Underfloor Heating systems Collection Guide.

When installing EcoFilm Pro beneath vinyl or carpet flooring, additional structural layers are required to protect the heating elements and provide a stable, solid subfloor. This ensures long-term performance, even heat distribution, and compliance with flooring manufacturer requirements.

Refer to our Underfloor Heating Compatibility Guide and Underfloor Heating Overlay Board Guide for full advice.

Vinyl & Carpet Installations (Important)

EcoFilm Pro can be used beneath vinyl or carpet flooring only when installed with the correct overlay system.

Mandatory Requirements for Vinyl & Carpet

  • ECOMAX-DUO overlay boards are required
These create a strong, floating subfloor that protects the heating film and provides the stability vinyl flooring demands.

  • Polyester vapour barrier must be installed
This protects the heating elements from moisture.

  • Floor temperature control is essential
Vinyl flooring typically requires a maximum surface temperature of 27°C.

  • Not suitable for wet rooms
EcoFilm Pro must not be used in bathrooms, shower rooms, or other wet areas.

Typical Installation Build-Up (Vinyl & Carpet)

From bottom to top:

  1. Subfloor (concrete or timber)
