The innovative design of the Herschel Under Pew heater is ideal for providing additional top-up warmth under pews, if required, complementing Herschel’s suspended chandelier-style Halo heaters and the wall-mounted Halo Horizon. Using infrared radiant heat technology, Herschel’s Under Pew heater works differently to traditional under pew heaters. The Herschel Under Pew heater converts electricity to produce a gentle waveband of far infrared heat. The infrared heat radiates from the surface of the panel, travels through the air and directly warms all surfaces and objects. It is a similar effect to the warming effect from winter sun. The heater will heat the floor, feet and legs of the congregation and create a warm “bubble” of gentle localised heat. Most alternative electric under pew heaters are traditional “convection” heaters that circulate warm air, which rises and is a less effective and efficient heating solution for under pew areas.
These Under Pew heater comes complete with our smart push button controls which allow pew by pew timer control with centralised App and remote functionality, as standard. This allows individual pews to be heated during services, as and when needed, saving energy where it is not needed.
Featuring our innovative Swift Comfort Plus technology and made in our UK Production Facility to the highest standards, the heaters come with a 10 year warranty and are tested to IEC60675 for radiant efficiency. The Under Pew heater comes in a stylish bronze finish, complete with a beautifully ornate and tamper-proof, zinc-plated grill that ensures the surface temperature is safe to touch, keeping it safe for toddlers and the vulnerable. Mounting methods include fixing to the underside of the pew, or alternatively the back of pews or can be used freestanding (with or without floor fixings).
