The Parador PE film is a 10 m² moisture protection film designed for use with Parador flooring products on mineral-based subfloors, such as concrete. It acts as a vapor barrier, preventing residual moisture from the subfloor from damaging the flooring installation

Essential when installing a floating floor (like laminate or vinyl) on a concrete subfloor

Key Features:

10 m² roll size
Vapor barrier: It provides essential moisture protection for floating floor installations, including laminate and some vinyl or engineered wood flooring.
For mineral subfloors: The film is necessary when installing flooring on concrete, screed, or other mineral surfaces, especially those with underfloor heating.
Roll dimensions: The film is supplied on a single 10 m² roll with a width of two meters.
Installation method: It is laid out with an overlap of approximately 30 cm at the edges and sealed with tape.
Alternative products: The PE film is not needed if you are using a Parador underlay with integrated moisture protection, such as the Akustik-Protect 50, 100, or 500 mats.
Not for wood subfloors: This vapor barrier should not be used when installing flooring over an old wooden subfloor

As well as providing additional moisture protection this is ideal if you are not installing Parador Acoustik-Protect 50, Acoustik-Protect 100 or Acoustik-Protect. In those instances, additional moisture protection is absolutely necessary when installing on mineral substrates. This is guaranteed by the Parador PE film 10m².

The PE film is supplied on a 10 m² roll in a format width of two metres.
