They are suitable for installation on underfloor heating systems. The installation height of this laminate flooring is 8 mm. Also, thanks to the patented click mechanism with the SafeLock® PRO click connection, these floors can be installed easily in a custom-fit manner. An all-round edge impregnation ensures reliable swelling protection. The manufacturer's guarantee for private use is twelve years.

Here is a breakdown of the differences between 4V groove and no-joint Parador laminate floors:

 1. Visual Appearance

  • 4V Groove (Bevelled): These floors feature a bevel (a slight slant) on all four sides of each plank. When connected, they form a "V" shape, highlighting each board. This gives a more rustic, traditional, or natural wood look.
  • No Joints (0V): These planks have square edges, meaning they fit perfectly flush without any gap. This creates a uniform, sleek, and modern floor that looks like one continuous, uninterrupted surface.

2. Durability and Wear

  • 4V Groove: The V-groove is more forgiving over time. As laminate flooring naturally expands and contracts with changes in temperature and humidity, 4V joints can hide slight gaps that might open up, making them less noticeable. It is generally considered better for long-term wear.
  • No Joints (0V): While appearing perfectly seamless when first installed, a 0V floor can, over several years, show minor gaps or slight lifting at the edges if the flooring moves, which can become more noticeable than in a 4V floor.

3. Maintenance and Cleaning

  • 4V Groove: While some believe dirt collects in the grooves, modern 4V laminate (like those from Parador) typically features a special sealant in the groove, making them just as easy to clean with a vacuum or damp mop as smooth floors.
  • No Joints (0V): The flat, smooth surface is often seen as easier to clean initially, as there are no seams for debris to potentially catch, offering a truly hygienic surface.

Summary of Differences

Which to choose?
If you prefer a classic, natural look that mimics real wood, choose 4V. If you prefer a modern, clean-lined look that looks perfectly seamless, choose no joints. Parador offers high-quality options for both, ensuring durability regardless of the choice.
