Parador Knotty Oak 3-Strip Living Matt Lacquer Engineered Wood Floor – Classic 3060

Characterful Parador engineered oak flooring with Living grading, knotty appearance, 3-strip format, matt lacquer finish and easy Automatic-Click installation.

The Parador Knotty Oak 3-Strip Living Matt Lacquer from the Classic 3060 range is designed for interiors where natural texture, visible knots and a more expressive wood look are key to the overall design.

This floor uses a Living grade with a knotty oak appearance, meaning more visible knots, grain variation and tonal movement compared to calmer Natur floors. It gives a more authentic, slightly rustic feel while still remaining suitable for modern interiors.

The 3-strip (shipsdeck) format creates a more detailed, lively pattern across the floor. This works particularly well in smaller rooms or spaces where a wide plank might feel too uniform.

The matt lacquer finish provides a protective, low-sheen surface that keeps the wood looking natural while making it easier to live with day to day.

This floor features a flush, bevel-free design, allowing planks to join seamlessly for a clean, continuous appearance.

Each plank measures 2200 x 185 x 13mm and includes a 3.6mm real wood wear layer, giving it long-term durability and the option to refinish in the future. The Automatic-Click system ensures a fast, secure installation.

Underfloor Heating, Underlay and Floor Build-Up

This engineered wood flooring is suitable for installation with underfloor heating systems.

Recommended underlay:

Concrete / Screed:
Use Parador Akustik-Protect 100 for moisture protection and sound insulation.

Timber Subfloors:
Use Akustik-Protect 80 to allow breathability.

Underfloor Heating:
Always use a low thermal resistance underlay to maximise heat output.

Kitchen and Bathroom Suitability

Kitchens: Yes, with care. The floor includes swelling protection and can handle occasional spills if wiped quickly.

Bathrooms: No. Engineered wood is not recommended in wet environments. For bathrooms, use Modular ONE Hydron.

Performance & Everyday Use

Suitable for everyday use and easy care: The matt lacquer finish helps protect against daily wear, making this floor practical for busy homes. Regular sweeping and occasional damp mopping with a suitable cleaner is all that is required.

Suitable for uneven substrates: When combined with the correct underlay, this flooring can tolerate minor subfloor imperfections, helping achieve a stable installation even where the base is not perfectly level.

Quiet and warm underfoot: The engineered wood construction combined with quality underlay reduces footfall noise and provides a comfortable walking surface.

Commercial Use & Durability

This floor is suitable for light commercial environments such as offices, boutiques and hospitality interiors.

  • 3.6mm wear layer: durable enough for daily use
  • Dimensionally stable: resistant to movement
  • Matt lacquer: helps resist scuffs and marks

Tip: For commercial use, a glue-down installation is recommended for maximum stability and reduced movement.

Healthy Living & Sustainability

This floor is designed for Healthy Living, meaning it uses low-emission materials and responsibly sourced wood.

This helps maintain good indoor air quality, making it suitable for family homes, bedrooms and commercial interiors where environmental impact matters.

Warranty & Long-Term Value
