Its distinctive round shape makes it a standout option for contemporary interiors, while remaining discreet and space-saving. The panel can be wall or ceiling mounted using Herschel’s EASYFIX mounting system, or suspended from the ceiling using the integrated wire mounting points.
Design, Installation & Mounting Options
The Select XLS Round is available in two colour finishes: classic white for subtle integration, or blue/grey for a more design-led statement.
Flexible Installation
- Wall or ceiling mounting with EASYFIX system.
- Each panel includes the EASYFIX mounting bracket, which can be used for both wall and ceiling mounting.
- Suspension mounting using included wire kits
- Hard-wired installation (UK plug not included)
- The Select XLS Round also features rear wire mounting points, and they come with a 1-metre adjustable ceiling wire cable kit, allowing for suspended ceiling mounting.
- No Plugin Needed (Ceiling): While the panels come with a plug for wall mounting, ceiling mounting requires the removal of the plug and professional hardwiring to the mains.
- Installation Note: For ceiling installations, ensure that the panel is secured tightly using the bracket and that it is not placed in a location where the heat output is blocked.
This flexibility makes the panel suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, offices, studios, and modern commercial environments.

The Select XLS Round features Herschel SMART-R technology, allowing smartphone-enabled control when paired with compatible XLS thermostats (sold separately). This enables precise temperature management and supports zoned, energy-efficient heating.

- Range: The wireless RF signal between the XLS thermostat and the panel has a range of approximately 35 metres.
- Safety: If installing in a bathroom, ensure the thermostat is placed in Zone 3 (dry areas). The T-PL plugin model is not suitable for bathroom use.
