The Herschel iQ R2 Receiver is specifically designed to control Herschel Infrared heaters. The R2 operates with the T2 Thermostat.
The R2 is the switch that turns your heaters on and off and must be wired to the heaters and mains power. It also acts as the internet gateway for the T2 enabling you to control the system with the SmartLife App.
The R2 pairs wirelessly with the T2 thermostat and receives control commands from the T2 to either turn the heater(s) on or off. Additional R2s can be added to the same T2 Thermostat to allow you to add several heaters in a room to the same T2 control.
The R2 Receiver features a 1 hour Boost function and all other control functions are provided from the T2 or SmartLife app.
