Herschel Halo Mini Infrared Chandelier Heater

Compact chandelier-style infrared heating for churches, heritage buildings and high-end interiors.

The Herschel Halo Mini delivers the distinctive elegance and reliable warmth of the Herschel Halo in a more compact format, making it ideal for smaller church spaces, heritage buildings and design-led interiors.

Developed in response to demand for a smaller chandelier-style heater, Halo Mini offers a powerful yet discreet heating solution that blends seamlessly into architectural environments. Optional dimmable LED lighting and decorative finishes allow it to double as both a heating system and a visual centrepiece.

In churches, Halo Mini is particularly suited to:

  • Side aisles and chancels
  • Choir areas and pew seating zones
  • Lower ceiling spaces
  • Areas where preserving views (such as stained glass) is important

For broader church heating strategies, see our Church Heating Guide.

Designed for Heritage & Commercial Spaces

The Halo Mini is ideal for environments where both aesthetics and performance are critical.

  • Churches and listed buildings
  • Theatres and performance venues
  • Hotels, receptions and lobbies
  • Large domestic interiors

Its ability to provide zoned radiant heat means it can either warm specific seating areas or contribute to heating the entire building when used as part of a larger system.

Efficient Infrared Heating Performance

Using far infrared radiant heat, the Halo Mini warms people and surfaces directly rather than heating the air. This results in:

  • Faster warm-up times
  • Reduced energy waste
  • Improved comfort in large or high-ceiling spaces
  • Lower running costs compared to convection systems

Learn more in our Infrared Heating Guide.

Power Options & Control

The Halo Mini is available in three sizes:

  • 3.2kW
  • 5.2kW
  • 6.4kW

All models are designed to work with the Herschel APX Controller, enabling:

  • Zoned heating control
  • Energy-efficient scheduling
  • Integration with commercial heating systems

For advanced control strategies, see our Commercial Heating Controls Guide.

Build Quality & Sustainability

  • Kanthal ceramic heating elements for long life performance
  • No moving parts – silent and maintenance free
  • Nickel-plated grille for durability and corrosion resistance
  • 98% recyclable construction
  • Compatible with renewable energy systems

When paired with renewable energy, the Halo Mini can form part of a low-carbon or net-zero heating strategy.

  • Models:
  • Options available for with/without LED lights and with/without decorative finish. Bespoke decor/colour options also available.
  • Installation:
  • Hanging System: This unit is for ceiling mounting only and must be installed beyond the reach of people due to the high surface temperature. It can be hung using a number of different mechanisms from wires to chains (provided by others) which must be capable of handling 4 x the weight of the heater.
  • Heated Zone: Contact Eco Friendly Heating for heated zones depending on suspended heights
  • The heater will directly warm people and objects within the Heated Zone (note: air movement may reduce area coverage). Within enclosed areas the thermal mass of the building will also be heated within the entire zone. Dependent upon the property age/type, insulation levels, number of heaters used and running times this will increase the ambient temperatures. For larger commercial projects or where different mounting heights are required we would always recommend we carry out a survey or detailed desktop assessment.
  • The heaters must not be used or installed in any premises where they can be accidentally touched.
